Becoming an engineer

In a university context, project-based learning demonstrates its value and its effectiveness every day. It focuses on the student's activity and their own approach to questioning, exchanging and building knowledge.

The Louvain School of Engineering (EPL) has been putting students in project situations for nearly 30 years. With the strength of this experience and confidence in the determination its students demonstrate, EPL extended this approach in its teaching for candidates in 2000 and for bachelor's students in 2004.

EPL offers students a stimulating, productive working environment in contact with research that enables them to acquire basic scientific and technical skills together with the methodological knowledge they will need for their future careers as students and as engineers.
