Internship

Students admitted to the double degree programme with the University of Oslo must complete their internship during Master’s Year 1. The internship (150-210 hours full-time) may take place in a company or a research centre in Belgium or abroad.

 

Important dates:

Mid-November

Submission of internship proposal form, signed by the internship supervisor and the academic coordinator

Mid-December

Submission of internship agreement and a risk analysis document

Mid-May

Submission of the internship report  (by the June exam session)

End of August

Submission of the internship report (by the September exam session)

 

 

Dissertation

Work on the dissertation is spread over the two years of the Master’s programme.

Master’s Year 1 at UCL

  • Double degree students must be duly enrolled in the Dissertation seminar [LING2891]. They will write a chapter on the current state of the art with a bibliography (min. 20 entries) by 15 May at the latest.
    The instructions relating to the seminar and the document on bibliographical referencing will apply.

  • The form indicating the student’s choice of topic and supervisors must be submitted by 15 December at the latest. Students doing a double degree programme will work under the supervision of a UCL supervisor and a co-supervisor at the University of Oslo.
