The main objective behind collaborations and partnerships is to develop the concepts and the tools of a cultural transformation of companies with respect to CSR and sustainable development. The idea is to help leaders and staff to make evolve gradually the values, the strategy and the behaviors in this field, notably by exchanging practices and establishing co-operations or synergies with other companies.

Chair Philippe de Woot in Corporate Sustainability Management

Duration: 3 years (2018-2021). The goal of the Philippe de Woot Chair is to keep the spirit and the inspiring thinking of Pr. Phillippe de Woot alive at UCLouvain by training and inspiring tomorrow's leaders so that they can become aware of the various economic, environmental and societal challenges they will face for a better future.

The special feature of this chair is that it exists thanks to serveral contributors. As a results, any organizations or company wiling to contribute to this chair is invited to contact Valerie Swaen.

This partnership mainly aims to :

  • pursue the development of the international Philipe de Woot award for the best master thesis related to CSR and sustainability,
  • support the Philippe de Woot major in Corporate Sustainable;Management offered to LSM's Master students in Management and in Business Egineering through conferences, visits and workshops,
  • contribute to the development of new MOOCs related to CSR and sustainability.

Chair essencia

Duration: 3 years (2017-2020). The 3 main goals are:

  • to develop/contribute to responsible management education. This partnership aims to analyze CSR strategies, conceive managerial tools and contribute to shared created value through conferences during CSR courses at our university, students' confrontation to real CSR cases study and projects from the field, and participation to the MOOC "Communicating CSR" and by coaching students with their master thesis,
  • to promote research in the field of responsible management (f.i., study of publics' perceptions regarding CSR activities in different sectors; circular economy and green purchase practices),
  • to contribute to society through sensibilization activities (f.i., seminars, workshops)

Chair Proximus

:    Duration: 3 years (2008-2011). This action research chair in CSR and Responsible Leadership allowed the recruitment of a post-doc researcher, Manal El Abboubi.

Chair Engie

Duration: 6 years (2007-2013). This partnership aimed at a better understanding of what will be the brain and the heart of future managers in relation with that growing importance of sustainable development and CSR matters.

Partenariat GSK

Duration: 2 years (2006-2007). François Maon and Benoît Gailly (LSM) were associated to GSK Biologicals in GRLI meetings in order to unfold a strategic CSR agenda in this pharmaceutical company based on a complete auditing of GSK’s CSR practices.
