BASF Certification

Louvain-La-Neuve, Mons

On December 13th, the 45 LSM students of the Price Management and Product Innovation classes (Major in Marketing, Mons) received a certificate from BASF (one of the largest chemical companies in the world), partnership supported by their LSM professors Caroline Ducarroz and Nadia Sinigaglia.

These students took active part in the 2-day sessions provided by Paul Dens (BASF headquarters, Germany), former Head of Sales BASF Europe, now in charge of all BASF pricing processes worldwide.

These sessions, mixing strong theoretical foundations, business practice and real-data case studies, were prepared in close collaboration with the professors in charge of the two classes, Profs. Caroline Ducarroz and Nadia Sinigaglia, in order to be really integrated into these two courses and ensure coherence.

So far, about 300 LSM master students have raised their awareness about B2B stakes in these two fields, through these BASF talks, but also through master theses, internships or group projects for BASF.

A convivial ceremony took place in Mons, and was chaired by the LSM Dean, Prof. Per Agrell and by the Director of Human Resources at BASF Benelux, Dirk Tack.
