The initiative is called "8pm" and it aims to provide a real moment of respite for hospital staff who are currently working hard.
If you've been clapping on your balcony since the beginning of the crisis, you can help even more now with this short-lived applause that allows every citizen to offer a meal to a hospital staff member.
One meal is equivalent to a donation of €10. They are cooked by restaurateurs in the capital, themselves weakened by the crisis.
8pm therefore makes it possible to help both at the same time.
8pm is the result of the collaboration between our startup partner Hello Tyro and the Instagram Brussels FoodGuide, joined by the restaurant reservation service TheFork and the crowdfunding platform Miimosa.
In 1 month, 1.000 meals have already been offered.
