To begin a PhD at UCLouvain, you must first find a supervisor who agrees to supervise your thesis
Who can supervise a doctoral thesis?
- Tenured UCLouvain academic staff
- Permanent representatives of the F.R.S.-FNRS attached to UCLouvain (qualified researchers, research masters, research directors)
- Members of the tenured scientific staff at UCLouvain
Note: The candidate may have several supervisors if the research theme justifies it. Each supervisor must meet the eligibility criteria to supervise a thesis.
