The language of instruction for the majority of UCLouvain course units is French. Thus all students are invited to participate in course units (classes, seminars, practical work, etc.) in French. This is why we recommend that students have at least a B2 level in French (written and oral).
Beginning in 2022-23, the master of science course in public health, applied research methods in global health (MSSP2MC), will be replaced by the specialised master’s course in public health, analysis and evaluation of international health policies, programmes and systems (SPIN2MC).
The main goal of this Specialized master is to provide a large degree of autonomy in the use of public health methods to achieve the overall objective : «ensure methodological approaches and public health decision-makings, consistent with the needs of people, communities and individuals».
