Are you excited to present your research to a congenial public and network with colleagues? Are you willing to cross the borders of your own scientific discipline or research institute and discover what else is out there in the broad field of applied biological sciences? Are you interested in reflecting on your own career?
Join the 23rd National Symposium for Applied Biological Sciences (NSABS) on Thursday 8 February 2018 in Brussels! For the first time in 23 years, NSABS2018 will be co-organized by VUB and ULB at the Brussels Humanities, Sciences & Engineering Campus of the VUB (Pleinlaan 2, Brussels 1050). The symposium is a great opportunity to present your work to a broad audience, get feedback to improve your research, and exchange ideas across researchers and institutes within Belgium.
The organizers have invited 3 distinguished plenary speakers for you and there will be several awards for the best presentations dedicated for PhD researchers.
The conference is traditionally aimed for PhD students, but all researchers are cordially invited to participate to NSABS2018 and to submit an abstract for oral or poster presentations.
Please be aware of the following deadlines:
- 15 December 2017 – Submission of short abstracts
- 15 January 2018 – Confirmation of selected presentations to authors
- 15 January 2018– Registration deadline (max. 250 participants!)
All information is available on www.vub.ac.be/events/nsabs2018-conference
We look forward to meeting you there.
With best regards,
The local organizing committee
