On 4th October 2019, three geologists from UCLouvain (ELIe), Jean-Louis Pingot, Bernard Delcambre et Martin Laloux, have received the “Medal Van den Broeck” from the scientific association Geologica Belgica. This medal has been attributed to all the geologists who have been mapping the geology of Wallonia for the past 30 years as part of the “programme de révision de la carte géologique de Wallonie” with the SPW, UCLouvain, ULiège, UNamur, UMons, ULB, and Institut Royal des Sciences naturelles de Belgique.
