We are very happy to welcome Gianluca Bianchin as a new Faculty member !
Gianluca Bianchin was a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Electrical, Computer, and Energy Engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder, United States, from 2020 to 2022. He received a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California Riverside, United States, in 2020, a Master's degree in Controls Engineering and a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Engineering from the University of Padova, Italy, in 2012 and 2014, respectively.
His research interests are centered around the areas of systems and control, optimization, and network theory, and his research goals are to accelerate the world’s transition to a sustainable society through the electrification of transportation systems, the use of shared mobility, and their integration with renewable energy.
