Jérôme Savary, PhD student of the Marko's group, won the Elsevier Best Poster Prize during the 18th Tetrahedron Symposium : Challenges in Organic Chemistry, Budapest, Hungary (27 - 30 June 2017).

Elsevier said about this symposium :"The Tetrahedron Symposia are the major international annual meetings and information points for reporting advances in organic, bioorganic & medicinal chemistry. The intention of the 18th Symposium is to bring together some of the major leaders in the field, to provide an intimate and relaxed environment, and to stimulate fresh thinking and creative ideas in those scientific fields impacting so importantly on life and medical sciences. Leading international experts will lead a topical programme supplemented by selected contributed oral presentations and a comprehensive poster session for which abstracts are invited by 20 January 2017".

Jérôme and three other student of our research group had the opportunity to met some experts as : professor Ben Feringa (Nobel price, University of Groningen, The Netherlands) professor Keiji Maruoka (Kyoto University, Japan) and the emeritus professor of our university, professor Léon Ghosez!
