The spirit of the Civil and Environmental degree is characterized by:

  • An entrance exam exclusively focused on mathematics;

  • Strong common theoretical courses during the BAC1 and BAC2 (Mathematics, Physics, Programming,…);

  • A strong theoretical background in more specialized courses related to structural engineering, geomechanics and hydraulics from the BAC2 until the Master 2;

  • A projectbased teaching, with activities such as the Timber design project (BAC3), the Civil engineering works project (Master 1) and the Bridge project (Master 2);

  • Laboratories activities, where students learn how to use the testing equipment;

  • A 9 weeks professional internship at the end of the Master2;

  • An endmaster thesis, either in applied research or fundamental research.

  • A large choice of elective courses;

  • Numerous construction sites' visits

  • The possibility of completing part of your coursework or internship abroad (in Europe or elsewhere).
