is PhD student cotutelle between Université de Sherbrooke (UdeS) and Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL). His project is numerical and experimental investigations of the two-phase ejector in the transcritical CO2 refrigeration cycle. He explore a numerical method to predict the complex flow in the two-phase ejector taking into account the flashing phenomenon, the turbulent mixing, shock waves... A tabulated method will be developed and implemented together with a non-equilibrium two-phase model in AVBP code which is developed by CERFACS (France) for modeling turbulent flows by Large-eddy simulation (LES). The experiments will be carried out in Laboratoire des technologies d'énergie (Canada) to supply the experimental data in terms of the pressure, the temperature and the mass flux in order to validate the numerical model. The final objective is to develop a reliable CFD model for the complex flow in the two-phase ejector of CO2, which helps to make a more efficient design of two-phase ejectors.
