We are pleased to inform you that the Institute of Health and Society of UCL is organising a two-day workshop on ego-centric network analysis with R on 27th and 28th June 2017. Full details can be found in the attached invitation.

In the field of social network analysis, ego-centric network research is gaining increasing interest. The central idea is that the people (alters) that an individual (ego) knows, and the way that these people interact with each other, affect outcomes in that individual’s life. This type of analysis is increasingly used in sociology, political science, mathematics, economics, public health, history,...

The workshop will be facilitated by an ego-centric network specialist, Dr. Raffaele Vacca from the University of Florida. This Workshop has already been proposed on numerous occasions, among others at the Sunbelt Conference of the International Network for Social Network Analysis or at the European Conference on Social Networks.

Registration and other practical details can be found in the attached invitation. Do not hesitate to pass on this information to your colleagues.
