La troisième édition du MT180 Bénin a enregistré cette année la participation de plus d’une centaine de candidats issus des différentes facultés des universités de Bénin. Au terme de la présélection, 11 finalistes ont été désignés pour participer à la finale nationale qui a eu lieu le 26 juillet 2018 à l’Université d’Abomey Calavi (UAC), Bénin.

Des trois lauréats, DOHOU Angèle doctorante en cotutelle UAC/UCL-LDRI (CLIP) a remporté le prix du public et le troisième prix du jury.

L'ARES finance le Projet de Recherche pour le Développement MUSTPIC (MUltidisciplinary STrategy for Prevention and Infection Control In Benin), coordonné par le CLIP, en collaboration avec l'Université d'Abomey-Calavi.

Ce projet veut contribuer à la réduction des infections associées aux soins au Bénin, par la promotion de l’usage rationnel des antibiotiques et de pratiques d’hygiène hospitalière en chirurgie.

Le projet SEAMPAT, coordonné par le groupe de recherche en pharmacie clinique de l’UCL (A Spinewine) est nominé pour le meilleur projet d’innovation aux Agoria eHealth Awards.

La cérémonie (1er juin 2017) rassemble notamment les directions d’hôpitaux belges et des décideurs de la santé. Ce projet a pour but d’améliorer la continuité des traitements médicamenteux entre le domicile et l’hôpital et ce, par le biais d’une plateforme de réconciliation médicamenteuse encourageant la participation active du patient.
