Two best poster prices for the LDRI at the Annual meeting of the IATDMCT

Because of the pandemics, the annual International association of therapeutic drug monitoring and clinical toxicology (IATDMCT) congress, initially planned in Banff, Alberta, Canada, has turned virtual through interactive webinars and virtual poster hall. Despite this forced innovation, the organizing committee decided to present the annual Best young scientist poster awards in TDM and in Toxicology. We are proud to announce that both prices have been awarded to PhD students of the LDRI. Emilia Hoste (PMGK) has received the Best Young Scientist Poster Presentation in clinical toxicology for her poster entitled “TOXICOKINETICS AND MUSCLE-RELATED TOXICITY OF ATORVASTATIN IN VITRO”. Alexandra Degraeve (PMGK/MNUT) has been awarded for the Best Young Scientist Poster Presentation in Therapeutic Drug Monitoring thanks to the demonstration of her preliminary results dealing with “THE EFFECT OF ANTIBIOTICS-MEDIATED MICROBIOTA DEPLETION ON TACROLIMUS PHARMACOKINETIC IN MICE”. Both projects are still ongoing and will now explore other leads likely to unravel the mystery of those promising observations.
