"Ethics in research"

Recently, numerous fraudulent research practices have been identified in research, and notably in psychology and behavioral economics. Always aiming at the highest ethical standards, it therefore seems relevant to organize a workshop that turns our attention on those issues and how, even unconsciously, ethical errors can be made. In order to do that, Mario Pandelaere proposes to lead an open discussion about new standards on research integrity.

Mario suggests to discuss the following issues :

  • p-Hacking (Causes And Consequences, Solutions)
  • Selective Reporting
  • Theory Hacking
  • (Unconscious) Plagiarism
  • Transparency
  • Mario’s Personal Ethics
  • Conflict of Interest In Reviewing

He also invites everyone to come with their own questions and issues to nourish and enrich the debate.
