LouRIM elected its new president! On May 15, the LouRIM Council appointed Prof. Karine Charry as the new President of our Institute. Congratulations to her!
A professor in digital marketing, Karine Charry specializes in the study of pro-social and sustainable consumer behaviours. She is in charge of the chair “Entreprendre.Wapi en comportement du consommateur”, dedicated to the study of consumer behaviour in the agri-food sector.
Karine Charry has been member of LouRIM since 2016, after 10 years working in various marketing departments before pursuing a PhD and joining the academic world. During her mandate, her priorities will be to support everyone at the institute finding what they need to thrive and enjoy their research. She will also build on the great work of her predecessors by enhancing our institute and its identity within and outside the university, and boosting its visibility.
Karine's appointment marks a new chapter for LouRIM, and her leadership will certainly drive our institute towards new heights of excellence. We look forward to the future under her guidance!
We would like to take this opportunity to thank outgoing president Valérie Swaen who will be taking a well-deserved sabbatical from her dutiesafter two terms.
Please join us in welcoming Karine Charry as the new president of the LouRIM Research Institute!
