Complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) is a chronic pain syndrome usually affecting a limb.
It is also thought to be characterized by cognitive deficits that impair patients' ability to represent, perceive and use the affected limb and the space around it. This hypothesis, published in Pain, has been tested by Valery Legrain's lab.
