Gradescope will be used for unsupervised written exams. These written exams take place online on the gradescope.com website, during a single time slot for all students. These exams are, for the most part, timed.
A Gradescope exam will consist of open questions with two possible response formats: answers written either directly into Gradescope or into a file to be downloaded from Gradescope online (e.g.: photo in PDF format of a mathematical description or diagram made by hand, mathlab diagram, etc.)
This type of exam could also be composed of multiple choice questions with only one correct answer, multiple choice questions with more than one correct answer (all answers must be ticked to be correct) or short answer questions (one word, a group of words, a number).
Gradescope could also be used as part of a take-home exam.
