First steps at UCLouvain
Like every student, you have a global UCLouvain user account. Activate this account to access online e-services.
All messages sent by your faculty, your teachers, the administrative services will now arrive at your UCLouvain email address. It is therefore imperative that you consult it regularly.
Your e-mail address is automatically created within 24 hours after the activation of the global account.
The UCLouvain offers you access to the eduroam Wifi network.
the login to connect to it is the following: email@example.com
On the uclouvain.be website, click on My UCL. You will have access to all the University's information and to your virtual student office. There you will find the "My Studies" Widget to manage your academic career.
You can also customize your desktop to add other useful widgets (email, schedule, ...).
If your Bachelor's degree offers you the opportunity to take a minor or if your Master's program has options, don't forget to register for the minors or options before you register for classes.
Then, on the basis of the calendar that will be communicated to you by your faculty, register for all the courses that make up your Annual Program (PAE) so that your proposal can be examined and validated by the Jury. This official registration is an obligatory step, don't forget it!
Accepts the Moodle Platform Usage Charter to access it. You must register in Moodle for the courses you want to take to find the online resources posted by your teachers (syllabus, exercises...). To help you with this, consult the student Moodle manual. Please note that not all courses are on Moodle, your faculty or teachers will tell you which courses are relevant.
Students from the FUCaM Mons campus visit student-corner.be.
Connect yourself, using your UCLouvain email address, to the application that allows you to join the Teams team of each of your courses.
The next day at the latest, you will be able to find the teams that will allow you to follow your courses by connecting to Teams.
