Calls 2021-2022 – Pillar II – Cluster 2 ‘’CULTURE, CREATIVITY AND INCLUSIVE SOCIETY"

DL: 07/10/2021 - Closing date for the first calls of cluster 2 - Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Society

As announced some weeks ago, the first Calls for Research proposals in the framework of Horizon Europe’s Pillar II « Global Challenges and European Industrial Competitiveness » were launched on 22 June 2021.

More specifically, 17 Topics will close on 07 October 2021 under Cluster 2 "Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Society".

These Topics (see complete list below) are organised under 3 main Destinations :

  • Innovative Research on Democracy and Governance
  • Innovative Research on the European Cultural Heritage and the Cultural and Creative Industries
  • Innovative Research on Social and Economic Transformations

The detailed description of each topic can be found on the online Funding and Tenders Portal of the European Commission or by clicking directly on the links available in the table below.

Brokerage event and information day
European collaborative projects require the set-up of highly interdisciplinary, trans-sectoral international consortia (at least 3 partners from at least 3 different EU or Associate countries, more generally 10-15 partners).
It is therefore paramount to be able to build or to integrate such international consortium in order to submit a proposal in this framework.

  • Information Day: On 01 July 2021 (09:00 -13:00), the European Commission organises an information day that aims at informing (potential) applicants about topics included in the Cluster 2 "Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Societies".
This Horizon Europe Info day will be open for participation without prior registration
  • Brokerage event : On 02 July 2021, a brokerage event dedicated to the topics of the 2021 Cluster 2 Calls for proposals will be organised online.
The matchmaking event will give participants the opportunity to join pre-arranged meetings with other participants in order to identify possible collaborators and to facilitate the setup of Horizon Europe project consortia. Registration is mandatory (before 30/06).
