Circle U. a lancé l'appel à projets pour la première édition de Circle U. Sandpits.
POUR QUOI ?
Les Circle U. Sandpits offrent une excellente opportunité de réunir des chercheurs junior et senior et les doctorants des universités partenaires, ainsi que des partenaires externes. Le but des Circle U. Sandpits est de favoriser l’émergence de projets interdisciplinaires à travers le partage et le brain-storming collectif guidés par des facilitateurs professionnels.
QUOI ?
Les Circle U. Sandpits représentent un outil innovant pour promouvoir l’interdisciplinarité et de faire rencontrer les partenaires internes et externes. Le but est de réunir 21 participants (chercheurs junior/senior et doctorants d’au moins 3 universités Circle U.) ainsi que des partenaires externes, y compris des partenaires associés Circle U. dans des workshops résidentiels appelés Sandpits.
POUR QUI ?
Les Sandpits sont ouverts aux membres des communautés scientifiques et académiques Circle U. (chercheurs junior et senior, doctorants), ainsi qu’aux partenaires externes, y compris aux partenaires associés Circle U.
Il n’y a pas de restrictions relatives aux domaines de recherché, état de l’avancement de la carrière, âge ou nationalité.
COMMENT ?
Jusqu’à trois chercheurs par université Circle U. seront sélectionnés pour participer aux Sandpits.
Tous les frais liés à la participation aux Sandpits (frais de voyage et de séjour) seront pris en charge par l’Alliance Circle U.
En 2022, la première édition de Circle U. Sandpits se tiendra à l’Université catholique de Louvain (Belgique) les 12-13 Septembre et les 23-24 Novembre 2022.
La date limite de soumission a été fixée au 31 mai 2022.

Circle U. is pleased to announce the call for applications for the first edition of the Circle U. Sandpits.
PURPOSE
The Circle U. Sandpits offer an exciting opportunity to gather junior and senior researchers and Ph.D. students from Circle U. partner universities as well as stakeholders beyond academia. The goal of the Circle U. Sandpits isto encourage the emergence of interdisciplinary projectsthrough sharing and collective brainstorming, under the guidance of professional moderators.
DETAILS
The Circle U. Sandpits offeran innovative tool to fosterinterdisciplinarity and to connect internaland external stakeholders. The aim is to bringtogether 21 participants (junior and senior researchers and Ph.D. students from at least three Circle U. universities) and stakeholders outside academia, including Circle U. associated partners in residential workshops called Sandpits.
ELIGIBILITY
The Sandpits are open to junior and senior researchers and Ph.D. students, as well as to stakeholders beyond academia, including CircleU. associated partners. Thereare no research area, age, career stages, or nationality restrictions.
PROCEDURE
Up to 3 researchers per Circle U. university will be selected to participate in the Sandpit activities.
All the costs related to the participation in the Sandpits (travel, accommodation, and subsistence) will be covered by the Circle U. Alliance.
In 2022, the first Circle U. Sandpit will be held at the Université catholique de Louvain (Belgium) on
September 12-13 and on November 23- 24, 2022.
The application deadline is May 31 2022.
