ESPO Louvain-La-Neuve, Mons

All individuals arriving in or returning to Belgium are required to complete the « Public Health Passenger Locator Form » within 72 hours of their arrival.

Additional regulations may apply depending on the country from which you departed. The Belgian government uses colour coding to identify countries at risk, they range from green to red, the latter being the most serious. Depending on the colour code of your home country, please follow the rules. You can check the colour code associated with your home country on the Belgian Foreign Affairs website (scroll down to ‘You are returning from…’).

Stay informed about the pandemic’s status in Belgium by frequently viewing the Belgian Immigration Office and the Belgian information about coronavirus

You can also stay updated by consulting the UCLouvain page.

If you need to have a PCR test done as part of your quarantine, here is some useful information:

  • It is likely that you will be directed to the testing centre in Louvain-La-Neuve (address: Place de l’Hocaille 1), which should be within walking distance from your accommodation.
  • You will need to present yourself there with the 16-digit code you would have received in the SMS. Because you won’t have received your student card by then and also because you are not Belgian residents, you will need to contact the following service: with the following information: NOM, PRENOM, DATE DE NAISSANCE, NATIONALITE, ADDRESS in BELGIUM. They will then issue you with the information required to present yourself at the testing centre. Don’t forget to do this to avoid being turned away on the day. You don’t need to make any appointment. It is open every morning (Mo – Fri) from 9am to 12pm.
