"Is your company looking to enter a new market? Do you need to initiate a new marketing strategy? Are you looking to appear more sustainable in the eyes of your customers? Or maybe, are you looking for a more efficient customer relation system? Our students at the LSM can help you reach those objectives." by Pr James Thewissen
The Louvain School of Management is launching a new course for the next academic year 2022-2023: "Consulting Project".
The general structure of this class is the solution of a managerial question by a group of students for a given business unit of a company. A “managerial question” means a question that has several potential answers and whose solution requires the search for the potential answers, their respective assessments and the use of a decision-making mechanism. This is rather similar to the question typically dealt with in a “mémoire-project”/”Applied master thesis”.

The course “Consulting Project” for the students in Master in Management will:
- Be the opportunity to make a break from the traditional teaching style of the bachelor studies by moving to a case-based learning approach;
- Be focused on real cases and therefore provide a first contact with the real world of managing organizations;
- Be the opportunity for the student to learn project management - and team management -techniques and skills.
