La fin du mois de janvier a été une période passionnante pour le projet BRAIN 2.0 NaPol-Intel, puisque deux événements distincts ont été organisés à Bruxelles.
Le premier a eu lieu dans l'après-midi du mercredi 24 janvier aux Archives générales du Royaume et avait pour thème "Polices d'hier et d'aujourd'hui : plongée dans le passé pour mieux façonner l'avenir". Ce fut l'occasion de discuter des premiers résultats de recherche du projet NaPol-Intel entre des historiens, des archivistes, des juristes, ainsi que des membres des forces de police belges.
Le deuxième événement était le colloque internationale "Police Intelligence, from Local to Global. From 1750 to the Present Day ", qui s'est déroulé les 25 et 26 janvier. Des chercheurs du monde entier ont présenté leurs travaux sur un large éventail de sujets de recherche et de périodes historiques. Il y a eu beaucoup de débats, de curiosité et d'intérêt pour apprendre les uns des autres.

The end of January was an exciting time for the project BRAIN 2.0 NaPol-Intel, as two separate events were organized in Brussels.
The first one took place in the afternoon on Wednesday 24 January at the National Archives of Belgium was “Police forces of yesterday and today: delving into the past to better shape the future” (French: “Polices d’hier et d’aujourd’hui : plongée dans le passé pour mieux façonner l’avenir”). It was an opportunity to discuss the first research results of the NaPol-Intel project among historians, archivists, lawyers, as well as members of the Belgian Police forces.
The second event was the international conference “Police Intelligence, from Local to Global. From 1750 to the Present Day”, which took place on 25 and 26 January. Scholars from all over the world presented their work on a diverse range of research topics and historical periods. There was much debate, curiosity, and interest to learn from each other.
