Virtual annual meeting May 27th and inventory about the research on the covid19 pandemic
The covid19 pandemic is triggering many challenges for the most fragile people in our society. It is also a difficult time for many of us and our relatives. I very much hope that you are not too much impacted by the situation.
We have important news to communicate.
First of all, BAPS wants to stay resilient in these difficult times. This is why we have decided to maintain a virtual version of the annual meeting. There is probably an even stronger need now to make our community of psychology researchers highly connected.
We are happy to announce that despite the circumstances, we can provide a wonderful scientific program on May 27th, including a keynote address by Bernard Rimé, talks by Rakoen Martens (best master thesis award) and Pieter Van Dessel (early career award).
We are also finalizing one symposium slot with parallel sessions.
One of them will be dedicated to a selection of current studies looking at psychological dimensions of the covid19 pandemia (see below).
People will also have the opportunity to leave a static or a video recording of their accepted talk or poster on a open access repository. Thanks already to all of you who responded positively to this initiative.
