La Fondation Cardinal Mercier de l’UCLouvain, érigée en 1974, décerne annuellement le prix Mercier. Ce prix est destiné à récompenser des travaux ayant trait à la métaphysique, la philosophie "première" ou l'ontologie dans ses rapports avec le monde contemporain.

The Cardinal Mercier Foundation of the UCLouvain, created in 1974, awards the Mercier Prize annually. This prize is intended to reward work relating to metaphysics, "first" philosophy or ontology in its relationship with the contemporary world.
