Conference: Would you trade your privacy rights against data security? – 31 October 2019 (1 pm to 2 pm)
October is the Cybersecurity Awareness Month in the EU. It is thus a great opportunity to engage into a debate on what cybersecurity means for you and provide some tips for better cybersecurity hygiene. The goal of this discussion over lunch time is to raise awareness on cybersecurity risks of emerging technologies through interactive games and discussions. The main topics will include the types of cyber risks linked to electronic devices, such as phishing, malware, spoofing or shoulder surfing.
The debate will be moderated by Alain Strowel (UCLouvain, CRIDES) with the input of Diletta De Cicco (Associate, Mayer Brown) and Charles-Albert Helleputte (UCLouvain, CRIDES & partner Mayer Brown).
