Tim Balcaen is a joint PhD student within the group of Prof. Greet Kerckhofs (UCLouvain) and Prof. Wim De Borggraeve (KU Leuven). Within his research project, he tries to bridge the gap between the chemical composition of contrast-enhancing staining agents (CESAs) and their staining properties for contrast-enhanced computed tomography (CECT).
