  • The conceptions and purposes of education in general and school education in particular;
  • The philosophical concepts and views on educability, social justice and educational justice, equity, autonomy, citizenship, and responsibility in education;
  • The condition and rights of the children
  • The ethical and deontological foundations of the teaching profession.
Teaching methods
Lecture-based teaching, group work, exercises, and classroom activities.
Evaluation methods
The final grade will be composed of three integrated components, corresponding to three types of assignments:
  • Creation of a video (by a group of students) demonstrating the application of the methods and content taught during the semester (30% of the final grade).
  • Completion of a written text at home applying the methods and content taught during the semester (30% of the final grade).
  • A written exam at the end of the semester (40% of the final grade).
The use of artificial intelligence in the preparation of written assignments or oral presentations, if proven, will result in a grade of 0, as it contravenes scientific and academic integrity practices.
