Main themes
Through the analysis of a marginal or even marginalized “figure”, the group work aims to critically apprehend the concept of the legal subject, by questioning the legal operations of qualification and categorization of beings and things. These include: the woman, the monster, the refugee, the river, the robot, the double and the rebel. Examination of these figures should bring out the logic of instauration at work in law, i.e. its capacity to reinforce (or diminish) the reality of beings through the movement of their (re)knowledge.
Each group of students chooses a figure in agreement with the teacher.
