Main themes
This course draws on, exploits and reinvests the literary and theoretical knowledge acquired by students during their course of study through practical writing and creative writing exercises. Using precise instructions, the course enables students to explore different forms of writing, style and discourse. Through practice, students are encouraged to become aware of their writing skills as well as their difficulties, so that they can remedy them if necessary. The course also emphasises a more horizontal relationship with literature and writing, by enabling students to explore on their own the theoretical notions studied, to collaborate with others in the creation of a text or to practice putting texts into oral form. In short, the course aims to promote a more conscious relationship with the mastery of the written language, and to support students, through creative exercises, in their search for their own style of writing and thinking.
