Main themes
The course provides an opportunity to put into practice the knowledge acquired in the field of ancient Near Eastern and Egyptian civilizations.
Learning outcomes

At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to :

carry out a small research project and present the results.
To this end, the student is expected to show initiative and develop a sense of responsibility.
 
Content
The internship can take several forms:
  • Visit an exhibition and write a report;
  • Participate in a symposium and write a report;
  • Participate in an excursion or trip (e.g. to Egypt) and write a report;
  • Work on one or more museum objects (eg edit a text, make a facsimile, describe an object with inscription, etc.).
Teaching methods
The internship coordinators validate the student's internship project and support the establishment of the internship agreement.
Evaluation methods
The assessment is based
  • If applicable, on the evaluation sent by the tutor(s) who supervised the internship in the host institution
  • on the evaluation of the internship report written by the student following the instructions received
Other information
The work placement must be carried out in the academic year in which it is included in the student's annual programme.
Under no circumstances may it be carried out during the months of July and August preceding the academic year in which the student registers for the EAP.
