In-depth study of specific issues in the synchronic or diachronic linguistics of Greek.
The teacher will choose to deal with one or more themes relating to the synchronic functioning and history of the Greek language, in connection with current linguistic research.

Content
The course deals with one or more specific questions concerning Greek synchronic or diachronic linguistics (phonetics, accentuation, morphology, syntax). The course content varies from year to year depending on the topics covered.
In parallel, students will read independently one or two Greek texts (cursive readings)

Lectures (possibly combined with presentations by the students).
Evaluation methods
1. Regular tests during practical work sessions (20 % of the final grade). In the event of failure, the student is required to sit a complementary test (translation from Greek into French) during the September session.
2. Oral presentation in class (20 % of the final grade). In the event of failure, a written paper due before the beginning of the September session.
3. Written examination assessing theoretical knowledge (30 % of the final grade) in June. In the event of failure, the student must retake the exam in September.
4. Oral examination assessing the mastery of cursive reading (30 % of the final grade). In the event of failure, the student must retake the examination in September.
Generative AI must be used responsibly, respecting academic and scientific integrity. Since scientific integrity requires referencing one's sources, the use of an IA must always be indicated. The use of AI for tasks for which they are explicitly forbidden will be considered cheating.
