During the first year of the Master's program, at least three meetings are scheduled between the student and his or her supervisor. During these meetings, the promoter and the student will discuss the chronological, geographical and logical limits to be given to the dissertation, examine the available sources (published and unpublished), agree on the structure of the work and set the timetable for its completion.
In agreement with the promoter, a report of around twenty pages must be submitted for the June session. The report should set out the theme of the dissertation, define the issues, establish and comment on the state of the art and the body of sources, and propose a structure.
