Main themes
The training course takes place in an active institution in the field of communicating history, in the public or private sector, in Belgium or abroad. It is carried out with a training course supervisor, preferably a historian by formation, affiliated with this institution. The training course comprises on average 240 hours during which the student is integrated into a professional environment. In the absence of concrete insertion into a professional environment, under the direction of the academic training course supervisor, the student will analyze and/or complete a communication project in history - directed in a professional environment.

The final grade includes the evaluation of the academic supervisor based on the internship report and the evaluation given by the internship supervisor of the host institution.
Generative artificial intelligence (AI) must be used responsibly following the practices of academic and scientific integrity. As scientific integrity requires that sources be cited, the use of AI must always be reported. The use of artificial intelligence for tasks where they are explicitly forbidden will be considered cheating. In this case, it is not allowed to write the final report, except for linguistic correction.
