Content
The course begins with an introduction to the evolution of the language of western music, known as "savante".
Then, it deepens some musical "grammars" significant for the study of music sheets and an analytic listening of chosen works.

Magistral lectures and exercices.
Evaluation methods
Students' achievements are assessed by means of a written exam which covers both theory (lectures) and score analysis.
