Applied Methods Boot Camp: Mixed Methods and Comparative Designs
5.00 credits
15.0 h

This learning unit is not being organized during year 2024-2025.

This interactive, workshop-style training takes stock of all prior methods training (qualitative and quantitative) and guides each student through some "applied tips and tricks" enabling him/her to build a solid research project with a robust design and adequate methods. Besides 'classical' qualitative (case-based) and quantitative (statistical) methodologies, two other methodological approaches are presented 'hand-on': (1) systematic cross-case analysis and in particular QCA (Qualitative Comparative Analysis); and (2) mixed- and multimethod designs.
