The Literary Translation Workshop (Spanish into French) will be devoted to the translation of comics/graphic novels. A theoretical section will focus on the following elements: 1) comics; 2) characteristics of translating comics; 3) the different stages in the translation of a comic (from the translation request to delivery). After this introduction, the students will translate several pages of one or several comics as well as related documents in the course of the seminar. Students will also be asked to compare and comment on translations.

Evaluation methods
During the term: formative and/or summative assessment of the student's work.
June and August/September exam sessions: summative assessment in the form of a written paper and oral exam. Practical details of the written paper and oral exam will be communicated during the term on Moodle.
