Learning outcomes

At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to :

  • Describe the basic principles of scientific research and the key stages of the scientific process in the field of motor sciences (2.1, 2.4 and 7.4) 
  • Describe the fields of research in the motor sciences (2.1) 
  • Identify similarities and differences between fields of research (e.g. qualitative and quantitative research) in the field of motor science (2.1.) 
  • Explain how to identify and cite appropriate and relevant documentary sources (2.2. and 2.5.) 
  • Describe and identify the limits of science and its biases (2.4)
