At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to :

The student will be able to:
  • Analyse the main literary movements and writers in 20th- and 21st-century Spanish literature.
  • Understand the impact of historical and social events on contemporary Spanish narratives.
  • Explore the interaction between literature and other art forms, recognizing how they mutually enhance and inspire each other in literary production.
 
Content
This seminar focuses on the study and analysis of some of the main trends and authors of 20th and 21st century Spanish literature. The proposed texts will deal with the novel of exile, the evolution of contemporary literature, the impact of feminism on narrative, and the relationship between literature and other arts.
Evaluation methods
Research work (oral presentation and written paper).
Unless otherwise stated, the use of generative AI is of course forbidden for any activity subject to evaluation.
