Main themes
In the context of expanding architectural research at the university level, the course aims to integrate the student into a team of architectural researchers. This experience is an opportunity for students to explore and engage in active research processes, contributing to their academic and professional development. The internship may align with the research theme of the student’s TFE.
Learning Activity:
  • Participation in an academic research environment within the disciplinary fields of the LAB-UCLouvain institute’s research teams,
  • Development and submission of a ‘Research File’ based on internship experience.
Learning outcomes

At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to :

  • Integrate into a research team and identify its organizational structure, working methods, and communication dynamics, both for scientific purposes and broader dissemination,
  • Apply a data collection methodology that adheres to a rigorous scientific framework,
  • Analyze and interpret collected data within the context of the research theme, and formulate hypotheses based on a simplified yet robust data collection framework.
