Main themes
This course explores the theories and methods involved in urban, territorial, and landscape projects and processes. It contextualizes these in relation to the challenges of the socio-ecological transition and examines: the dynamics between urbanization, urbanism, and natural and landscape resources; theoretical concepts from urban and territorial ecologies, as well as landscape ecology; fair planning practices and mechanisms for adaptation and resilience in response to the ecological crisis; the materialization of territorial transformation processes and their practical implementation. The course also provides a critical understanding of contemporary tools for urbanism and territorial project.
