Main themes
Each course in the Travail de fin d’étude (TFE, master’s thesis) domain addresses themes and methods related to the domains of Edification, Habitat and Society, History and Theory, and Territory. These domains naturally intersect with three longitudinal issues: Sustainability, Heritage, and Digitalization.
The objective of this course is to support the successful completion of the Master’s thesis and serves as the culmination of the courses Transversality and TFE In & On Architecture taken in M1 (Q1 and Q2) and M2 (Q1). This course is co-taught, bringing together theory professors with architectural project professors.
During this course, students will:
  • Develop their architectural project while consolidating its research dimension,
  • Present the essence of their master thesis work through graphic, textual, and oral formats.

By the end of this course, students will be able to:
  • Refine the TFE plan by articulating the dimensions IN and ON architecture,
  • Demonstrate the relevance of the hypothesis being developed and materialized with autonomy,
  • Develop the project with a focus on the interplay between IN and ON architecture, ensuring alignment with the posed problem.
