Main themes
- Exercise in identifying and describing works of art.
- Learn and use the usual art history vocabulary (architecture, sculpture, painting and decorative arts).
- Identification of documentary typology and introduction to a system of bibliographic references.
- Exercise in reading and summarizing a scientific article.
- Introduction to heuristics and basic manuals.
- Initiation to certain aspects of the study of a work of art and drafting of a scientific text including a state of the question and a critical appraisal.
