Introduction to European architectural movements from the Renaissance to the current movements, presented chronologically on the basis of the main architects and monuments. Relationship between architectural theory and practice. Stylistic/ornemental characteristics of the movements.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to : | |
1 | At the end of the course, students will be able to analyse, identify and recognise an architectural monument and to situate it in its context. They will know the chronology of the history of architecture in Modern Times and the Contemporary Period and its main representatives. |
