The aim is to introduce students to an artistic practice (in this case, singing and composition) and to understand the various aspects of artistic creation, from conception to public presentation.

Content
Through several workshops and a writing and composition weekend, students will work in small groups to create songs. Sessions will alternate between writing and melodic research. The campus will close with a collective presentation at the Ferme du Biéreau.
-
Saule, real name Baptiste Lalieu, is a Belgian singer-songwriter who navigates between chanson, pop and folk. He first came to public attention with Dusty Men, his duet with Charlie Winston, and since then has been involved in a wide range of projects: albums, musicals, collaborations with other artists and a variety of stage experiences.
Teaching methods
The course is based on an interactive approach combining practical workshops and reflection on the creative process. Guided by the artist-in-residence, students will experiment with writing and composing, individually and collectively, according to their affinities. The emphasis will be on exploration, listening and exchange, fostering a gradual immersion in the artistic process.
Evaluation methods
The aim of the evaluation is to measure the achievement of the targeted learning outcomes.
Regular, active student participation in all sessions with the artist is essential.  The student's active and reflective engagement will be the overriding evaluation criterion.
