Main themes
The following themes will be covered
- Precision in the execution of danced and expressive movements (expressive performance dimension)
- (Self-)observation and analysis of the expressive and technical aspects of a performance
- Precise and appropriate formulation (for oneself and then for others) of an area for improvement relating to the dimensions of the performance (didactic and pedagogical aspect)
- Experimenting with different strategies for exploring movement, its constraints, limits and possibilities, with a view to stabilising new expressive movements (morphokinesis) and expanding the body's vocabulary (choreographer, stage director aspect).
- Opening up to the importance of musical forms, or the lack of them, as a support for expressive activities.

Content
The objectives will be achieved through a variety of complementary practices such as: free and guided choreographic explorations, improvisations on various themes (emotions, space, rhythm, musicality, expression, etc.), work in small groups and as a whole group, observation and critical feedback exercises (videos or student productions), etc. Final presentation in the form of a collective expressive sequence (creation of a show) developed collaboratively by the students.

Evaluation methods
The assessment aims to measure the achievement of learning outcomes targeted by practical and written teaching activities, in front of any audience.

- In the event of an unjustified absence, the final grade will be weighted in proportion to the percentage of attendance.
- Punctuality: three late arrivals are equivalent to one unjustified absence.
- Any unjustified absence from an assessment will result in a grade of absence for the exam. In the event of a valid justified absence https://www.uclouvain.be/fr/facultes/fsm/restricted/certificats-medicaux , a make-up session may be organized if material and human conditions allow.

How and when should I submit a medical certificate?
- A specific certificate template must be completed by the doctor.
- The student must scan their certificate in good quality. They must name the file with their first name, last name, and year of enrollment. The file must be saved in .pdf format.
(example: Delie_Arnaud_EDPH1BA.pdf) - The original medical certificate must be shown to the teacher during the class, and
- The scan must also be sent to the faculty administration using the specific form available at the following address: www.uclouvain.be/fsm-cm.
- Students must keep the original certificate until the end of the academic year, as it may be requested if necessary.
