  1. Techniques in cartography : surveying, the use of a GPS, construction of Digital Terrain Models
  2. Application of cartography for representing the state of natural resources (intensity of soil erosion, spatial varion of organic matter)
  3. Continuous measurement of environmental parameters using dataloggers
  4. Field validation of classification of satellite images
  5. Questionnaire design and testing

At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to :

1 Acquiring the most important fieldwork techniques in geography
Preparing the students for the acquisition of data for their thesi projects
